The Doc Green Cemetery is located 4.7 miles from the Old Settlers Trail trailhead in Greenbrier just as you reach Soak Ash Creek. A trail turns to the right and continues to a steep climb up to the cemetery.
The sign pointing to the cemetery says Green Cemetery but this is actually known as the Doc Green Cemetery. When I was here, it must have been near decoration day for the cemetery because the trail was marked with white arrows painted on trees leading to the graves which were all recently decorated with flowers.
It's always a beautiful sight.
