Little Greenbrier Cemetery

The steep slope of the land has caused serious erosion in the cemetery.

The only flowers when I was there were on the grave of Hattie Heaton.

That's the Little Greenbrier School at the bottom of the hill.

 The Little Greenbrier Cemetery is located directly across from Little Greenbrier School. There's a few options on how to get there, drive or hike. To drive, turn off 321 onto Lyon Springs Rd. and continue onto Wear Cove Gap Rd. and look for Little Greenbrier Rd. after 2.8 miles. The road dead ends at the parking area for the school/graveyard. 
To hike, you'll be starting from the Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Area just across the bridge and immediately to the right. For more info on hiking, click here.

This cemetery in located in a high traffic area and you can certainly see the overuse.
