Tritt Cemetery

The cemetery has 115 graves that are within a fence but it is not locked. The first thing you'll notice is that one grave (number 116) is outside of the fence (pictured above). The story goes that 'Spider John' Sutton didn't want to be buried in a cemetery and this was the compromise. Technically, he is buried outside of the cemetery.  

Where is it?

 The cemetery is located in Cosby, TN just off Hwy. 32 near the Cosby Campground on Tritt Cemetery Access Road. The road takes you .6 miles down a gravel road that dead ends to the cemetery.
